FairOrder Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 2, 2026

FairOrder generates a presentation order from the groups you enter. Your group names, presentation topics, course details, and saved orders are handled on your device. The extension does not send this data to the developer or third parties.

Information you provide

You may enter group or participant names, presentation topics, and a course or session label. FairOrder uses that information to display groups, run the presentation order race, and show the resulting order. Names may identify people; you can use team labels or aliases instead.

Local processing and saving

FairOrder processes your entries locally in the extension. Clicking Save groups saves your groups and course details in localStorage for this extension. Clicking Save order saves the presentation order and the group details needed to display it again. These saved records remain on this device until you remove them.

Draft edits that you have not saved are held in the open app. The extension can also display bundled example groups; those examples are included with the app and are not obtained from your browsing activity.

No transmission or tracking

The extension does not transmit your group, course, or presentation order information to servers. It does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking code, and it does not sell or share your entries. The developer cannot access your local saved records through the extension.

If you copy an order, the selected text is placed on your device’s clipboard at your request. You control where you paste or share it. Opening an external support or privacy link uses your browser to visit that website; the website’s own privacy practices apply to that visit.

Browser access

FairOrder requests no Chrome extension permissions or host permissions. It works with the data you enter in its own app and the data saved under its own local extension origin. It does not read your browsing history, tabs, visited websites, passwords, cookies, or other extensions’ data.

Retention and deletion

Saved data stays in this browser profile on this device. You can edit and save your groups again, delete a saved order, or use Clear local data in FairOrder to delete this extension’s saved groups, course details, and saved orders. Removing the extension removes the storage associated with its extension origin. Copies you have placed elsewhere, including your clipboard or shared documents, are outside FairOrder and must be removed separately.

Limited use

FairOrder uses the information you provide only for its presentation order functions. Its handling of user data follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements.

Changes and support

If the extension’s data handling changes, this policy and the app’s disclosures will be updated to describe the change. For FairOrder support, use the support options on its Chrome Web Store listing. For installation or store issues, visit Chrome Web Store Help.
